Pisani Ciancio Palace

Catania

The palace was built by the Pisani Ciancio family, an ancient and noble family from France based in Sicily since the middle 17th.  The house is a great example of Sicilian eclectic style, especially the salone, the ball room, with precious frescos by Catanese painter Alessandro Abate.
The Palace is set in the very heart of the historical district of Catania and from its balconies it is possible to see the Opera Theatre Vincenzo Bellini, one of the most important in all Italy.
